Phase 1project
The "Project of the century", titled RRX, has been launched in the Rhineland and Ruhr region. It aims to ease traffic congestion through the use of Siemens' modern trains, which should reach a speed of up to 160 km/h. How is this related to our HAJDIK industrial paint shop? We received an enquiry for the painting of the interior ceiling parts with sealing and lighting for Siemens trains.
Phase 2design
How can the maximum quality and longest-lasting treatment of these interior parts be achieved? In this case, everything was clear to us immediately. The best solution involved the use of traditional wet painting technology in a manual operation, under the supervision of our specialised staff.
Phase 3implementation
For each train, we prepare 114 interior parts of various dimensions, which will be located in the central double-decker passenger carriages. This year, a total of 7 trains are to be prepared in this way and, since this is a long-term project, we expect to be painting other parts in the future.
Phase 4realisation
Siemens' trains will travel along key routes between Cologne and Dortmund from 2018. In our HAJDIK industrial paint shop, we are proud to be part of the Rhein-Ruhr Expres project, which will make life easier for countless people in one of the most densely populated parts of Germany.
