A complex project of injection molding and painting front panel parts for the electric Volkswagen NEO car.
Phase 2design
The Volkswagen NEO is a member of the I.D. Car family, distinguished by its minimalistic and futuristic design. We produce 2 types of plastic front panel parts with a decorative as well as functional purpose. Extra emphasis is given to their processing quality. This is because they subsequently need to carry a parking camera and sensors for adaptive cruise control.
Phase 3implementation
The first samples and prototypes began to be made in early 2019. We chose the Mankiewicz HG-041 single-layer paint system for part painting.
Phase 4realisation
Our Galatek robotic line paints up to 8,000 of these parts per month.
